What If Today Was Your Last Day?

Today I’m going to look for a mud puddle to jump in, a river to float sticks down, and a lake to throw a rock across.

My kids want mommy to play with them.  Today I will read a book, paint a picture, and feed a squirrel.

 Tomorrow may never come.

Today I will dance when my little girl asks me too.    I will build a fort with my son.

No longer will I make my children wait for mommy to come and play.

Lately I been feeling tired and weak.

There is a restlessness in my heart and my mind will not turn off the noise.

The world around me troubles my soul.  I’m distracted by all the bad news.

Today I seek quiet in God’s presence.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  – Matthew 11:28-30

Thank you God for little ones to brighten up my day with smiles and hugs.  There is nothing more important then running after rainbows and watching clouds go by with my kids.

Today I will find rest in you God as I have fun with my family.

Thank you for children who make me smile and laugh.

I’m a very Happy Mom who chooses to slow down and let God be God in me.

The best place to be is on the couch snuggled tight with two kiddo’s singing Jesus Love Me.

Yes Jesus loves you and me. Not for what we do but for who we are.

Be who you are and live life to the fullest.

For tomorrow may never come.

What will you do today?
