I don’t like being uncomfortable.   A matter a fact, I dislike it so much that I will quickly go find comfort.

The problem is I make the mistake of looking in the wrong places for help.

Instead of resting in the moment of messiness, I panic and run around like a cat with string on it’s tail.  It’s pretty cute for a cat, but not so much for me.

It’s that feeling of being out of control that makes me so anxious that I become desperate to be in charge.

I sometimes have to go to my quiet space and embrace myself from making the wrong move.  I have a picture on the wall in this place that stabilizes my worrisome soul.

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD Psalm 46:10

This is what I want to say to you today.

The only thing that brings peace to my busy mind is God!!!  I must look to Him.

I’m learning that it is o.k. to be uncomfortable.  It’s here that we have a choice to give God control over our lives.  He is the only one who will bring you and me everlasting joy!!

This blog is filled with stories about looking to God when life gets hard.  I want you to know that you are welcome to be here with us when you feel scared and lonely.  I promise you that every post you read will encourage you to look to God.
