I’m sincerely head over heels and delighted for our Community that Angel Buff has joined Our Mom’s Writing Group. Angel will be writing for our group once a month starting in July.
I met Angel just two or three months after I started blogging in Fall of 2014. She came across one of my announcements about a series that I was promoting for our community. My first series ever. It was about Depression. I was recruiting writers and Angel asked if she could join.
This very special lady didn’t just want to share her story. She also wanted to publish a preview of every story in the series on her blog. For weeks, every Wednesday. Angel faithfully introduced a writer and published their story. Consistently she has given her time to show that she cares about others.
Angel and I are co-hosting a series on overcoming food issues. We are four weeks into it!
Coming up in late August we will be starting a series together with Mandy from Suburban Stereo Type – http://www.suburbanstereotype.com
God Calm My Anxious Heart Blog Series.
We are currently recruiting writers. And we have started a Facebook Group for this series. Please come join us as we help each other overcome fears and worries. https://www.facebook.com/groups/719840771476308/
I’m so thankful that Angel introduced herself to me. She is very genuine, sincere, tenderhearted, and a loving person. God has blessed our community with such a lovely person.
It’s been a blessing for me to get to know Angel through emails too. She encourages me, inspires me, and prays for me. She checks in on me to see how things are going. She follows through and is always there. I’m pleased to introduce you to my friend!
And Here She Is!!!
Hello! It is so nice to meet you!
My name is Angel Buff.
Who am I?
Really, I am no one special. Just a wife and mother and a servant of God who enjoys drinking coffee and Bible study, writing and teaching, and videography/cinematography.
I have been married to my amazing husband, John, for 13 years.
We have had to fight many battles throughout our life that have tried to destroy our faith – strongholds, chronic illness, infertility, financial struggles – but God has always been faithful.
One of the hardest battles we have fought together has been our struggle with infertility, and after an 8½-year-long wait, numerous prayers and countless tears, we were blessed with a miracle – our daughter – who is now 4 years old.
Why do I write?
I write because I know what “broken” feels like. I write because, through my brokenness, God has shown me merciful kindness and undeserved grace. I write because I want to help others. I write because I want to bring hope to others.
My vision is to see captives set free from spiritual strongholds.
I write for Jesus at Vision61 Ministries. I hope that you will stop by and join the community: http://www.vision61.com/
And I would also like to get to know you better. You can connect with me on Facebook or Twitter, and let me know how you found me.
Lisa, I am honored to get to be a part of this community. You have been a blessing to me also. I am glad that God put you in my “path.” Thank you for having me. And I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here.
Blessings!
