My name is Evonne Prince and I’m so excited to be part of this community!
Welcome Evonne to our community writing Group.
I recently got married to my amazing husband on February 28, 2015 and our story is one which reflects God’s grace and mercy in every way. We have endured challenges which should have broken us emotionally and spiritually but through surrender and prayer to the God, the author and finisher of our faith we are victors! I have a 6 year old year old son from my previous marriage and he is the apple of our eye. He’s full of energy, has a bubbly personality, friendly, has such a kind loving spirit, and loves Jesus with all his heart. Together we make our blended family.
My husband and I strongly believe building our family foundation based on God’s principals is essential to being a successful blended family. Each day brings new challenges but our faithfulness in God has proved time and time again with God all things are possible. We actively serve as volunteers at our church for anything from greeting to helping with our church events. The biggest blessing for us is serving God together as a family treasuring every moment knowing every day is a gift from above.
In June, I started my blog Blended and Blessed because my heart is for blended families. Being a blended family, I can relate to the unique dynamics families face from parenting issues, marriage stressors, and extended family situations which cause chaos right from the start. I love writing and sharing our experiences with other families to encourage and bring hope of becoming or maintaining a successful blended family whether your journey has been 4 months or 14 years plus.
My writing is pure and honest and I speak only from my heart supported with God’s biblical truth. All my posts are written based purely on my own life experiences and the lessons God teaches me and my family through being a blended family surrendered to his will for our lives. It’s my prayer you’ll be encouraged as you follow me on my journey in living life out loud through my writing.
Below are links to my personal Facebook page, Blended and Blessed, including some websites I visit often for inspiration and encouragement, as well as my Blended and Blessed blog. In the near future I will be transitioning over to my website, blendedbygod.com and I hope you’ll stop by to visit.
