Meet Rhiannon Skeen
Nice to Meet You!
Hi, my name is Rhiannon and I’m so thrilled to be a part of this team. I have been married to my college sweetheart, Andrew, for almost 4 years now. We have one little girl, Eleanor, who is 2 and she is a bright light in our life! I have been blogging since December of 2014. I started it as a way to try and generate income for my family. We were going into full time ministry in 2015 and I thought God could use the blog as a way to support our family. He had other plans though. Late last year God led me to shift the focus of the blog to identity and purpose.
Part of my testimony is how God brought me out of a life of lies. I lived with a constant repeat of hateful things going on in my head. As I started to grow in the word and in love with Jesus I started breaking those strongholds’. It is a daily journey but with God’s truth we are able to demolish the lies of the enemy.
Outside of writing I also love being a mom and the daily journey my little girl takes me on. She is such a joy for us and we look back now and think what was life before Eleanor? She teaches me so much about God’s love that I never understood before.
When I have free time (a.k.a naptime) I love designing and creating prints. I was never much of a freehand artist but once I discovered digital art I fell in love! I am still a beginner but it is my hobby and what I love to do during downtime.
I am so excited for what this new season holds for Mama’s and women all over the world. It is so awesome to be a part of a community that is seeking God. This is the time to embrace all He has prepared for those who love Him!
