5 Bible Verses For The Sane Mother On An Insane Day by Kelsey Dunkes

bibles

As a mother we have days were we feel as if we are crazy. Our day doesn’t go as planned. Our kids are out of control. Were feeling like we get no help. If we want something done we have to do it ourselves. Yes! I know. But I promise you, you are normal. You are a good mother. You got this and Tomorrow will be better.

Sometimes we just need a little motivation! We need a little motivation for a sane mother on an Insane day! Mama’s sometimes things are just hard. Bad days are bound to happen when we are trying to run a household, raise the children and be there for everyone. But the good news is, we have someone there for us! Of course, our husbands are there and sometimes they understand, sometimes they don’t. But we have one father who knows how we are feeling.

He knows what we are dealing with! But the best part is. He wants to help. You just have to receive it. 🙂 So now, let’s dig in and find out exact what 5 versus can help you cope for the sane mama on an insane day.

Sometimes we just need a little patience’s.

Psalms 145:18-19 lets us know that in times when we need a little patience’s all we have to do is call upon him. It states that he will hear our cry and he will save us. Some days, we just need a little patience’s. A little patience’s to deal with the toddler throwing food across the house or patience’s to deal with situations in our marriage. Whatever it may be, everyone needs a little bit more patience’s every now and again. But today, on an insane day, we need A LOT more patience’s. But you know what, we should feel grateful in knowing, God cares about days and he wants to deliver more patience’s to us to make it through.

So on those days you are needing just a little bit more patience’s remember this: “The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.” {Psalms 145:18-19}

Other Days, we just want to give up.

Some day’s we just want to give up. I don’t know about you, but for me there are days I go and lock myself in the bathroom, put my head in the sink and say “Lord, you just don’t know. It’s a war out there!”. I pray until I can stand to open the door to face the hurricane happening in my living room again. The reality of it is, He does know! He’s got your back and when you want to give up, He wants to help you keep fighting!

So whenever you are ready to give up just read Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

What about being Exhausted?

Oh Yes! Exhausted about covers it right up doesn’t it? No matter what kind of day we are having, there is always so much for us to do. We always seem to be exhausted. But, I understand how some days (you know, those insane days) where exhausted has a whole new meaning. We secretly wish for the grandparents to zoom in and take these little monsters away for just an hour or two. We wish for some quiet and just a little bit of sleep.

However, as much as we wish, it just isn’t happening. But yet again, we have a father who wants to help. He knows we are exhausted. He knows we just need a little break. So when you feel more exhausted than usual just remember this: Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

Just wait mama, the strengthen will come soon!

Oh to have Peace of Mind!

Your thinking, yeah right! Peace of mind – What’s That? I know, I know. It seems we never have peace of mind. As mothers we always have something to worry about, something to do, someone to feed. We feel so unproductive when we didn’t get the house cleaning done or we didn’t complete our to do list for the day. But you know what, it’s okay! Part of being a mother is realizing that every day you can’t do it all. Some days are going to go smoother than others. But other days, your to do list won’t even be touched.

You want to know the secret to having a productive day, even without doing anything? It’s realizing you can’t always have a productive day as a mother. We simply have to take the good with the bad and pray for peace of mind.

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Boost in Confidence

Now that we have prayed for Patience’s, the ability to not give up, strength from exhaustion and peace of mind – Lets boost up that confidence! You can do this mama! Not everyday will go as planned, we know that. But everyday you can turn to our father and he will guide you back to YOU. Your happy, energy filled, ambitious self. So even on the days when you can’t seem to get it all together, you got this. Tomorrow will be a new day and God will be there for you through it all! Have confidence in that!

Just Remember Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.”
